Productive projects of voluntary associations, women's organizations and projects supporting people with disabilities are income-generating productive projects carried out by non-governmental non-profit organizations and are subject to specific criteria for funding. Productive projects of voluntary associations and women's organizations often adopts a philosophy of selection, financing, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of projects of a productive nature; that promote socio-economic development of local community members in their various locations and categories. These projects are based on the needs and requirements of the local community in the target area and in line with its capabilities to ensure viability and success of these projects. Such projects also aim at providing support and facilities to people with disabilities; to enable them effectively produce and continue to work

 

 

Conditions for obtaining service

The proposed project shall meet the requirements and criteria adopted by the Program for Enhancing Economic and Social Productivity 

Notes

After the signing of the agreement, an operational plan is prepared within 14 days. A special project management committee shall be formed by the beneficiary, in addition to a tender / purchase committee and a special reception committee for the project by the same organization; with the membership of the Ministry of Social Development delegate, the main task of which is to implement the project specific items as appropriate

Procedures

  • Criteria for selecting the applicant and the project shall be applied; subject to offering a compelling justification of funding.
  • The application is then transferred to the Joint Committee to allocate the needed funds. In case of approval, the Minister shall ratify the Committee’s decision. The agreement will then be signed to start implementation.

Required Documents

  • The most important documents required is a document proving that the applicant is a non-profit organization and duly registered as an association in the Ministry of Social Development, provided that it has been incorporated for at least one year from the date of the application. The applicant organization should also have a recommendation with a statement of administrative and financial integrity from the sectorial and official level. Also, General Assembly members who had paid their annual subscription shall not be less than (30) members.
